Intensive Driving lessons
Start-2-Drive Automatic Driving School have instructors near Medway and we are specialists in providing Automatic intensive driving courses in and around the Medway towns , including Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham and the surrounding areas. We cover all the local towns and villages and if you want to take your driving test we are familiar with the local driving test centres and will give you as much experience as possible in these test areas.
Over the past 20 years our Instructors have had many students from the area, so we know the local roads really well and we share this knowledge with our newer instructors too, this gives you the best possible chance of passing your test as well as driving above and beyond the requirements to pass a test.
Our shared knowledge of the roads enables us to find the types of traffic conditions, types of road and junctions to practice the various skills of driving required to make you a safe and super confident driver.
The routes used around Medway are a mix of urban and rural routes along with dual carriageways such as the A2 and motorways, including the M2,M25, and M20, useful if you are interested in taking your Pass Plus course.
The driving practice will take place in the Medway town centres or possibly Maidstone, this does depend on your exact location.
The rural routes around Medway area will use the roads between the surrounding villages such as Walderslade, Lordswood, Cuxton, St Peter’s village, Capstone, Hempstead or Wigmore, these include narrow country lanes and fast national speed limit roads that will enhance and test your abilities as a confident driver.

The nearest practical driving test centre is at Courtenay Rd in Rainham, Gillingham.
